Health Information: EPO contains high amounts of GLA, a triply unsaturated Omega 6 EFA derivative. Under certain conditions of illness and dietary deficiency, our body may be unable to make GLA from LA (Omega 6) and EPO can compensate for this inability. As much as 10-25% of affluent populations could benefit from its use. GLA is an intermediate in the production of prostaglandins, with hormone-like regulating functions affecting heart, arteries, menstrual cycle, glands, kidneys, joints, mental function and metabolic rate.
Ingredients: Each capsule contains 1000mg (1g) of EPO (providing GLA 100mg). Other ingredients: d-alpha Tocopherol (to maintain freshness), clear gelatine, glycerin, purified water, d-sorbitol, ethyl vanilin. No corn, gluten, lactose, solvents, wheat, yeast, artificial colour or preservative.
Safety Information: Keep out of reach of Children. No side effects reported. People with sensitive metabolism should increase dose progressively. EPO may rarely cause migraines in some women and may interfere with some epilepsy medication. If taking blood thinning medication please use high doses under medical supervision. EFA expert Udo Erasmus recommends that if you have cancerous tumours you must take EPO (Omega 6) with Omega 3 (Flax oil or fish oil).
