About Leanne James
Leanne is a qualified
Herbalist and Iridologist working from Ideal Health and is a principal of nzhealth.com.
She has been a health practitioner since 1993 and has a wealth of experience to share.
She is a
Chartered Natural Medicines Practitioner registered with the New Zealand Charter of Health
Practitioners Inc.
We have been trading on the internet since 1998.
Soon after the birth of her daughter, Leanne discovered that she had numerous food allergies. To help her, Leanne researched into different areas of natural health, in an effort to discover the best way to treat her daughters' condition.
In 1991 Leanne began formal training with the NZ Institute of Natural Therapies. Her training was completed under the supervision of Dr John Muntz. Leanne trained with them for two years and received a Diploma of Iridology. After completing her thesis, she was also appointed an examiner for them.
Her interest in herbs and their medicinal use, then lead her to complete a two-year Diploma in Herbal Medicine.
Leanne is actively involved in natural health, both in her clinic and health shop on a day-to-day basis, and is member of several health organisations.
She is deeply passionate about natural health, and in July 2001 was recognised at the New Zealand Health Industry awards, with a special "Distinguished Public Service Award". This award was presented in "recognition of exemplary dedication and commitment as a Natural Medicines Practitioner providing without parallel, services to the community above and beyond the call of duty".
As further recognition of her health industry skills, she was elected to the Executive Board of the New Zealand Charter of Health Practitioners Inc in July 2002. She remains the current treasurer.
In November 2002 she was honoured to be elected, President of International Research into Iridology and Sclerology Inc. (IRIS). Leanne has been involved with IRIS since it's inception in 1999.
In August 2004 she was elected secretary and treasurer of the New Zealand Natural Medicine Association Inc. (NZNMA).

Leanne is one of the few practitioners in New Zealand trained in the use of the Cellular Health Analysis
(CHA) program. This is a
tissue analysis system, developed by NASA to monitor astronauts. CHA
can be used to evaluate your current level of health, by accurately
measuring the 6 key biological markers of ageing. This can help to
put in place and monitor anti ageing and fat loss programs.
Mike James
Mike is our Practice Manager, and has been involved with Ideal Health since its inception. Mike has a strong business administration background, and has a bachelor of business in computer studies and business communication. His interests include boating and fishing.
Mike has been instrumental in using technology to ensure that our customers receive accurate timely information. Laker Zhang
Laker is our business development manager. He has been involved in our business since March 2005. Laker graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce.
His role is to assist our Asian customers, from both New Zealand and overseas, to have a great shopping experience.
Laker comes from Harbin China, which is a hub of pharmacy and healthcare manufacture in China. He is interested in the international distribution of New Zealand healthcare products.

Peggy Zheng
Peggy is part of our customer services team. She was born in Guangzhou Province of China.

Grace has a Bachelor of Commerce and a PostGrad Diploma from the University of Auckland specialising
